Christine Witthöft, born on November 18, 1971 in Hamburg, started her career after studying business administration at Beiersdorf as a scotch tape product manager. After further successful product launches at Olympus, followed 4 years as marketing manager for the European business at Johnson & Johnson and as marketing director in medical technology for international (worldwide) business.

 

In June 2014 Christine Witthöft founded her own consulting company and since then has been advising board members and management boards on marketing, increasing sales and realigning them. Most recently, Christine Witthöft advised the board of the Edding Group on digital product ideas and the management of Philips on the online marketing campaign for the new smart home lighting system.

Founding history of UMSATZSCHMIEDE

 

 

The UMSATZSCHMIEDE as a founding idea had been around for a long time. On a summer's day, a Friday, June 6th, 2014, all preparations were completed and the sole proprietorship UMSATZSCHMIEDE was founded: the domain name was bought, the brand name was registered with the German trademark and patent office and the first invoices were written. In the meantime, the owner-managed marketing and sales consultancy has started and successfully completed many exciting customer realignments.

 

Christine Witthöft is the owner of UMSATZSCHMIEDE and works with a four-person team and four other freelance creatives, such as website programmers and graphic designers.

 

Before starting her own business, the business administration graduate worked for many years in brand and technology companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Beiersdorf and Olympus and most recently as a marketing manager for cardiology at Abbott. She traveled a lot on business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa and rolled out global strategies regionally and conducted local sales training for marketing managers in the Gulf States and Turkey, among others.

 

Today Christine Witthöft advises companies of all sizes on the strategic realignment and the optimal marketing and sales for the growth course. She sees herself as a partner for sales growth and is enthusiastic about companies in the organic and sustainability sectors. She has been a plenary member of the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce since the beginning of 2020 and is actively involved in decisions.

 

She volunteers for foundations in the fields of education and water and is active on the corporate advisory board of the Hamburg metropolitan region. In terms of sport, she enjoys golf, tennis and sailing.
